Re:      ATV Policies

Date:   July 13, 2024

Please be aware of the following polices concerning ATV use on HOLA roads and properties.

  1. The longstanding regulation is that ATVs can not be driven on any HOLA roads for the purpose of recreation.  They may only be used on a HOLA road to visit the residence of another HOLA member.
  2. Despite what people may have been told, or believe, there is no direct access to any approved ATV trail from a HOLA road.  Consequently, to access the ATV trailhead at either  Rev-it UP or Depot St. in Rangeley they must be trailered to these locations.
  3. ATVs can not use the CMP powerline corridor for recreation or to go to either of the ATV trailheads.  . The powerline is ALL PRIVATE PROPRTY. The homeowners are encouraged to post signs every 100 ft. that ATVs & Snowmobiles are prohibited. Then if there is a transgression, it is a matter for the Sheriff.
  4. ATVs are not allowed at the HOLA waterfront.
